My favorite, the red palm. Can’t remember if I’ve already put a picture of this palm up, but I really don’t care–I’ll probably put more up! this one was taken yesterday while Mary and I were out on a stroll. It’s growing in front of the Chicken Man’s house (remember? the guy who owns the Avicola Athenas chicken operation) and It’s beautiful. They grow slowly, so this is probably a good 6-8 years old if not older.
Then there’s this weird palm, in the Chicken Man’s back yard. We have no idea exactly what’s hanging down from the branches, but it’s always an odd site.
